Residential solar panel installations are on the rise, and for good reason. A solar panel system can lead to lower electricity bills as well as cleaner air. With our financing options, you can install solar panels without money down and still receive tax credits for those who finance them over time; this is great news for those trying to go green but don’t have much cash.
With monthly payments for the cost of the panels, you’ll start saving money on your electricity bill right away!
You now have an asset that generates electricity, and it is part of your home. Your property value is instantly increased.
The environment and your wallet will thank you for going solar! The cost of energy is rising, so it has never been more important to find ways to save money. By switching to solar power, you can save a significant amount of money each month. Over the course of a year, those savings can really add up!
Providing our customers with clean, renewable energy is a top priority for Secure One Solar. Using the most current technology, our solar panels produce electricity that is as environmentally friendly as possible. The future belongs to solar power, and we’re proud to be a part of the movement towards a greener, healthier planet.
Rather than relying on a power plant hundreds of miles away to turn on your lights, you create your own energy. Using your roof as a generator, you can produce your own electricity.
It’s a simple process that only requires your utility bill to get started.
Ready to Make the Switch from Electric to Solar?
We take a look at 3 factors to give you the best solar solution for your home:
We access your roof exposure and access to the sun.
We optimize the placement of your panels based on which direction your home is facing.
We consider your roof material and architecture in designing your solar solution.
Net metering is the policy that really enables your solar to work for you. In most US states, there is a policy that says for every kilowatt hour that you put into the grid, you will receive a credit for that kilowatt hour. So if your solar system produces 10 kilowatt hours of energy, and it puts those 10 kilowatt hours into the grid, that’s 10 kilowatt hours you get back. That’s what net metering is.
This is really important because your solar system produces energy during the daytime, but you use energy during the nighttime as well. How it works is that during the daytime, you put a lot of energy into the grid, and it goes “on account” to be used later when you are not producing electricity. So you’re banking all those credits. Then at night (or on a cloudy day), you pull that energy off the grid, and you use all the credits you accumulated.
That’s net metering. It’s an amazing policy. One that we all as consumers and advocates for clean energy have to continue to fight for. It has enabled solar to develop so much and, in effect, gives you the ability to use the grid as your own battery, reducing the cost of electricity for you and your family.
The Solar Investment Tax Credit (also known as the ITC) is available for qualifying homeowners who install solar. When you go solar, you can apply for the ITC from the federal government when you file your taxes which, for some homeowners, can result in a reduced, or even zero, tax liability. The ITC was recently increased from 26% to 30% giving homeowners even more reason to go solar. That’s why customers who are ready to go solar should do so while the tax credit is maximized.
The ITC is a huge part of the value proposition of solar. For example, if you go solar and finance (or purchase with cash) your system for $30,000, you could receive an income tax credit equal to 30% of that $30,000 solar system, depending on the size of your tax liability. And if you finance your system, you can be eligible for this benefit without paying ANY money down for the system. That is why you want to go solar today and take advantage of the generous federal subsidies we as consumers have available in order to support clean energy and save money.
The solar panels on your home are warrantied for 25 years, the inverters are warrantied for 12 to 30 years, and the workmanship is warrantied for 10 years. If any of these components fail during the warranty period, the manufacturer will replace them at little or no cost to you.
Most solar manufacturers also offer extended warranties that cover replacement costs beyond the standard warranty period. If you have any problems with your solar panels or inverters during the warranty period, the first step is to contact us. We’ll make sure you have peace of mind knowing your investment in solar energy is protected.
Solar panels are a good investment for a number of reasons!
Solar panels can help offset the cost of your electricity. The average homeowner can save about $1500 per year on their energy bill by installing solar panels. And, if you live in a state with sunny weather, you could save even more.
Solar panels can help increase the value of your home by adding to its curb appeal and making it more energy efficient. Solar panels can also help you sell your home faster, as buyers are often interested in homes that are equipped with solar panels.

Not every home is eligible for solar. Let’s talk about a few key factors that affect whether or not solar panels can be installed on a home.
The first factor is the amount of sunlight that hits the home. If a home doesn’t get direct sunlight for most of the day, it’s not going to be a good candidate for solar power.
The second factor is the size of the home and accessible roof. Solar panels need a lot of space, so if a home is small or has a lot of trees and other obstructions, it might not be able to accommodate the necessary equipment.
The third factor is the type of roof. Some roofs are simply not suitable for solar panel installation. And last, but not least, is the orientation, or direction, of your home facing. Typically, north facing homes are not exposed to a lot of direct sunlight.
To find out how your home meets with these criteria, reach out for a no-cost consultation! There’s a good chance that solar panels can be installed and you can start saving money on your energy bills.
There are a few different ways to finance solar panels, including through loans, leases, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). You can also buy solar panels outright. Solar panel loans tend to have low interest rates and can be paid off over a period of several years. Leases and PPAs are often offered by solar panel companies, and can make going solar more affordable up-front. You can also get solar panels for free or at a discount through some government programs.
Solar is the least expensive option to get energy in most of the United States. With low interest rates and lots of finance programs, it is typically easy for most homeowners to get zero-down financing. As solar panel technology continues to improve, and as electric rates rise, more and more homeowners are turning to solar power as a way to save money and protect the environment.

How does signing an agreement to go solar with power work? The agreement is actually the most difficult part! After you sign your agreement, we’ll handle the rest. Throughout the duration of your project, you will be kept informed by your dedicated project manager.
Our first step will be to schedule a site survey. Our next step is to create the design that gets submitted to the City for a building permit. The installation typically takes 1-3 days after the permit is received, depending on your system size. As soon as the solar system is installed on your house, we arrange to have the city inspector or the utility company approve the installation and issue a “permission to operate” to you. Your system is powered on once you have PTO, and you can enjoy clean, renewable power for your home. It usually takes 30-60 days for the whole process to be completed. However, most of that time is spent waiting for permits, inspectors, and the like.
Homeowners can benefit from batteries in two ways:
To begin with, you can use the battery as a backup power source. In case of a power outage, you are still covered. Even if your utility company cannot provide electricity to your house during a disaster, such as a hurricane or fire in your area, a battery will enable you to continue to have electricity in your home, even if it’s not provided by your utility company.
Another reason is that you can often save money by getting a battery if you live in an area with a specific rate structure that allows you to store power during more expensive times of the day. Many regions have net metering policies that let you save money without having to purchase a battery, unless you want the security of knowing that your home is capable of providing electricity even when your utility company can’t. Ask your Secure One Solar consultant for more information. We can provide you with a detailed quote regarding the cost of a battery-powered system. Our team works directly with all the leading battery manufacturers, so we will absolutely make sure that you’re taken care of.
So let’s explore your options. You really only have two options when it comes to your energy future.
You can take control of your power by going solar. By doing so, you will spend less for solar energy and energy for your home than you would currently pay from your utility, you will be energy independent and do the right thing for the environment. By increasing the value of your home, you will become energy independent and do the right thing for the environment. Sunshine doesn’t cause pollution. It is time we stopped polluting our air, our land, and our water, and started powering our lives in a way that we can be proud of as Americans. It’s the right thing to do. Taking care of future generations is our responsibility. We will know what we did was right when history looks back on our actions. That’s option number one.
That process is incredibly simple with Secure One Solar. We handle the entire project from start to finish with zero down payment. We will take care of everything, so you don’t have to worry.
The second option is to do nothing. It’s just a matter of staying with your utility. It’s something you already know. There’s probably nothing to worry about unless there’s a large power outage. However, you will pay a lot more for that energy.
It’s inevitable that you’ll spend money with your utility company, unless you’re planning on moving into a hut in the woods. Rather than paying more for energy, why not go solar and produce your own? Using a zero down option also means you do not have to pay another payment once the loan has been paid off, you just have free energy. Think about the possibility of not spending any money on energy every month.
With solar, you can avoid a lifelong, expensive contract with an electrical company that really just sees you as another account.
It is our goal to provide better energy services. We want to help you save money. Having a sense of pride about how you power your home is important to us. We want to get you all the best technology and equipment to set you up for success in the future. These are your two options. The choice is yours. With Secure One Solar, you can save money and progress towards a sustainable energy future.
Whether you are looking for a way to reduce your electricity bill, or just want to go green to reduce the carbon footprint in the world, Secure One Solar can help you get there.
